Horse Parties
Horse-Play Parties

A Horse-Play Party is basically a group riding lesson with an emphasis on fun and safety. Participants will learn very basic grooming, leading, health care, and riding skills. Other activities such as horse-theme games and crafts can be arranged. Cake, ice cream, other goods/foods, non-alcoholic beverages, and presents may be brought to the party. A small or large refrigerator is available for use. Flash photography, balloons, and other decorations must be discussed and agreed upon before the event takes place. A Horse-Play party may have a duration of 1 to 3 hours dependant upon activities chosen and the number of participants.

Parties can be scheduled with a minimum of two weeks notice and generally must be held Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday afternoons depending on availability of staff.

Let us handle it. If you need us to we can provide a cake made for you. The cost would be $50.00 for a single cake that would feed 30 to 40 people. Smaller cakes are $35.00.  A deposit is needed a week ahead of the party.
Also we would be happy to have a local pizza place make you  pizza's. Prices are different depending on what you have on the pizza. Call for pricing.

Party Fees:
$20.00 per participant for horse riding only ($120 minimum fee)

$25.00 per participant for horse riding plus one craft or one game ($175 minimum fee)

$30.00 per participant for horse riding plus one craft and one game ($210 minimum fee)

Fees are subject to change at any time before your event is scheduled. After your event is scheduled, full payment needs to be made before the event takes place. Additional riding participants may be added at any time, but if you have chosen a craft or game activity, two weeks notice must be given so that supplies can be obtained.

Requirements:
All riding participants must be a minimum of 5 years old and will be required to wear an equestrian safety helmet that you can bring or will be provided by Rocky Road Ranch. Participants are also required to wear long pants and shoes that completely enclose the foot. No sandals, flip-flops, or other such footwear is acceptable.

All participants must have a liability waiver on file before participation. A printable version of this waiver can be found here, and minors must have the waiver signed by a custodial parent or legal guardian.
Also a Student Information Sheet needs to be filled out also and turned in before anyone is able to participate in the activities.
